LinkedIn QR code generator.
Paste your profile address and download a code that opens it. Works on a computer, where LinkedIn’s own code does not exist, and comes as an SVG sharp enough for print.
Paste your profile address and the code appears here.
Nothing is stored. The code is drawn from the address you paste and nothing else.
A LinkedIn QR code opens your LinkedIn profile when a phone camera scans it. LinkedIn’s own code lives only in its mobile app. This LinkedIn QR code generator makes one on any computer from your profile URL: an SVG for print or a PNG for a slide, with its minimum print size. Free, no signup, and it never expires.
There is one in the app. Only in the app.
Use LinkedIn’s when you are standing with someone. Use this one for anything printed or made on a computer.
LinkedIn’s help page, Using a LinkedIn QR Code to Connect with Members, describes the code in the mobile app only: open the app, tap the QR code in the search bar at the top of the homepage, then the My code tab. From there you can share it or save it to your photos. It describes no way to get it on a computer (checked October 29, 2026).
That code is good for the moment itself: the other person scans your phone screen with LinkedIn’s own scanner (the Scan tab beside My code) and lands on your profile. For a business card, a resume, a slide or a name badge, you want a file made for print, at a size you choose. That is what this generator makes, and it encodes the same thing LinkedIn’s does: your profile address.

Shorten your profile URL first.
A shorter address is a smaller grid, and a smaller grid scans from further away at the same size. Steps from LinkedIn’s help page.
-
01
Open your profile
Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage, then your profile card.
-
02
Open Public profile & URL
On your profile page, click the edit icon next to Public profile & URL on the right.
-
03
Shorten it if you can
Under Edit your custom URL, click the edit icon and type a shorter ending: 3 to 100 letters or numbers, no spaces or symbols. A shorter address makes a smaller, easier code.
-
04
Copy and paste it here
Copy the address shown, paste it into the box above, and download the SVG. Scan it once with your phone before you use it.
How small it can print.
Worked out from each code’s real grid. A longer address adds modules, and every module needs room.
| Address | Characters | Grid | At GS1 minimum (0.396mm a module) | At GS1 target (0.495mm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
A short custom URLlinkedin.com/in/jhale |
33 | 29×29 | 0.58 in (14.7mm) | 0.72 in (18.3mm) |
A typical custom URLlinkedin.com/in/jordan-hale-example |
47 | 33×33 | 0.64 in (16.2mm) | 0.8 in (20.3mm) |
An assigned URL with its numberlinkedin.com/in/jordan-hale-8a41b2193 |
49 | 33×33 | 0.64 in (16.2mm) | 0.8 in (20.3mm) |
A long company pagelinkedin.com/company/hale-groundworks-and-landscaping-services |
74 | 37×37 | 0.7 in (17.8mm) | 0.88 in (22.3mm) |
Grid sizes come from the encoder that draws the code above. Module sizes are GS1’s published X-dimension for QR codes; the margin is the four-module quiet zone ISO/IEC 18004 requires. Example addresses only. Work out your own with the QR code size checker.

Questions, answered.
How do I make a QR code for my LinkedIn profile?
Copy your profile address from LinkedIn (on a computer: Me, then your profile, then Public profile & URL on the right), paste it into the box above and press Make my QR code. Download the SVG for print or the PNG for a document or slide. No signup.
Where is my LinkedIn QR code in the app?
In the LinkedIn mobile app, tap the QR code in the search bar at the top of your homepage, then the My code tab. You can share it or save it to your photos from there. LinkedIn’s help page describes no desktop version (LinkedIn help, checked October 29, 2026).
Can I get a LinkedIn QR code on desktop?
Not from LinkedIn itself. Paste your profile URL into this generator on any computer and you get the same kind of code, a picture of your profile address, as a file you can print or put on a slide.
Does this LinkedIn QR code expire?
No. Your profile address is inside the code itself, with no redirect of ours in between, so it keeps working as long as the address does, even if this site went away. If you change your custom URL later, the old code stops opening your profile, so make your final URL first.
Can I make a QR code for a LinkedIn company page?
Yes. Paste the page address, with /company/ in it, and the code opens the page. School and showcase pages work the same way.
Can I see how many people scanned it?
No, and that is deliberate. Counting scans needs the code to point at a redirect we control, which would make your code depend on our servers. This one points straight at LinkedIn, and we never see who scans it.
How big should a LinkedIn QR code be?
It depends on how long your address is. The table above works it out from the real grid: a typical profile URL needs about 0.64 inch including its margin at GS1’s minimum module size, and 0.8 inch at its target. The QR code size checker does any address.
Is it free for business use?
Yes. No signup, no watermark, no attribution and no limit. Print it on cards, resumes, badges, slides or a booth banner.
Can I change the colors or add a logo?
Not here, on purpose. A logo in the middle covers modules and spends the error correction meant for scuffs and creases, and a pale or reversed color is the commonest reason a code fails. Dark on light scans best; the business card guide explains the trade.
Can I put my LinkedIn QR code in my email signature?
Yes. Download the PNG here and add it as an image, or use the email signature generator’s QR mode: paste your LinkedIn address into its website field and the code beside your signature saves your contact with the LinkedIn link in it. For a code that opens LinkedIn directly, use the PNG from this page.
Can I make a QR code for a LinkedIn job post?
Yes. Paste the job’s address, the one with /jobs/view/ in it, and the code opens that posting. It is static, so it stops working when the posting is taken down.
