Free tools

Free tools, with no signup and no watermark.

Small things that do one job completely and then leave you alone. Nothing is stored, nothing expires, and none of it asks for an email address.

Small tools that do one thing and then get out of the way. No signup, no email address, no watermark and no cap. Everything is generated on the page from what you type, nothing is stored, and the output is yours to use commercially without attribution.

Why they are free

Each one hits the same wall at the end.

A vCard QR code has your details baked into the pattern, so it works offline forever and can never be corrected. An email signature is pasted into a client, so it is a snapshot that goes stale the day your number changes. Both are genuinely useful and both have the same flaw, which is that they capture your details at a moment rather than pointing at them. That is the problem the paid product solves, and showing it to you is more honest than describing it.

Questions

The free tools.

Are these tools really free?

Yes. No signup, no email address, no watermark, no usage cap and no attribution required. You can use the output commercially and for a whole team. There is no trial to expire because there is nothing running.

Do you store what I type?

No. Everything is generated from the query string on the page you are looking at, and nothing is written to a database. The values do appear in the URL so that a result can be bookmarked or shared, so treat that link the way you would treat the details in it.

Why give these away?

Because they are a better argument than an advert is. Each one solves a small problem completely, and each one runs into the same wall at the end: what you generate is a snapshot, and snapshots go stale the day your details change. That is the problem the paid product exists for, and you can see it for yourself rather than be told about it.

Can I request a tool?

Yes, and we would rather build one somebody has actually asked for. Email hello@cardr.co with the thing you keep doing by hand.
