Dusk, a sunset gradient business card template.
Dusk is a sunset gradient business card template for Apple Wallet: deep violet at the top, through magenta, to a coral and orange glow along the bottom edge, like the sky just after sundown. Your name sits in white at the lower left. It is the warm counterpart to Aurora, and it is on Pro.

What it is made of.
Five stops from night violet (#150c38) through purple (#38175e) and magenta (#a83a6b) to coral (#d95f3c) and orange (#e8934a) at the very bottom, with an extra amber glow low on the right and a cool blue one high on the left. The point where the colors meet is soft, like a horizon. The name is in Helvetica Neue, white, over a lighter scrim than the other dark designs so the glow is not dimmed.

Who should wear Dusk.
Hospitality, travel, wellness, photographers, florists, anyone selling an experience. It has color without the nightclub feel of Aurora. If you want warmth but no gradient, Oxblood is a single deep red.
How it reads in a dim room.
The pass rows sit on deep violet (rgb 24, 15, 60), so white type measures well past 7:1 even though the artwork is bright at its lower edge. In a dark room the violet keeps glare down and the white QR plate stands out from it.
17.9:1text contrast · 7:1 is the bar
Measured from the pass's own colors, by the WCAG contrast formula. 21:1 is black on white; the line marks 7:1, the bar for small text. This is a dark card.

The glow sits along the bottom edge of the band, right above where Wallet draws your details, so the band reads as a horizon and the rows below as the ground.

Dusk, answered.
What is the difference between Dusk and Aurora?
Aurora is cold and electric: pink, blue and violet light spilled over indigo. Dusk is warm and calm: a single horizon from violet to orange.
Can I choose my own sunset colors?
Custom Gradient builds the card from any two colors you pick. Dusk's colors are fixed.
Does Dusk work for a professional services firm?
It can, if your clients are people rather than procurement. For a bank, a law firm or an audit, Oxford or Intaglio is the safer read.
