Sage, a green digital business card template.

Sage is a green digital business card template: pale sage at the top that deepens to a soft leaf green along the bottom, with your name in a dark green-black. It is the only light design in the set with a real hue, which makes it look chosen rather than left as the default. It is on Pro.

The design

What it is made of.

Three greens from #eef3e7 through #d9e2cf to #aec4a8, with a white light in the top left and a deeper green shadow along the bottom edge, where the weight of the band sits. The name is in Helvetica Neue in a green so dark it reads as black (rgb 28, 40, 30). The rest of the pass is a pale gray-green (rgb 226, 232, 220).

Who it suits

Who should wear Sage.

Landscapers, gardeners, florists, wellness and yoga, nutritionists, sustainability consultants, therapists. It is calm without being bland. If you want green with more presence, Brand Color in your own green fills the whole card.

Example · Sage in Wallet
In poor light

How it reads in a dim room.

Dark green on pale green measures well past 7:1, so the rows read clearly. As a light card it glows in a dark room, a little less than pure white does. The darker bottom edge of the band gives the white QR plate below it something to stand against.

12.3:1text contrast · 7:1 is the bar

Your name and details12.3:1

Measured from the pass's own colors, by the WCAG contrast formula. 21:1 is black on white; the line marks 7:1, the bar for small text. This is a light card.

Where the details sit

Top to bottom, on the pass.

  1. Name, in the art
  2. Role and company
  3. QR, opens your page
  4. Links, on the back
Example · Sage, labeled
  1. Your name, in the artworkDrawn into the band across the top of the pass. A long name shrinks, then wraps, rather than being cut off.
  2. Your role and companyOne row under the band, in Apple's system font.
  3. Your phone numberTappable on your own phone.
  4. The QR codeOn the white plate Wallet draws at the bottom. It opens your page at cardr.co/yourname.
  5. The back of the passYour page link and every link you added.

The weight of the color sinks to the bottom of the band, just above your details, so the card darkens toward the part that matters.

Questions

Sage, answered.

Can I make Sage a different green?

Not Sage itself. Brand Color fills the card with any one color you choose, including your own green.

Is Sage too pale to scan?

No. Wallet draws the QR code on its own white plate, identical on every design, and that is what the camera reads.

Does Sage suit a therapy practice?

It is one of the better fits: quiet, warm and easy to read. The card page it opens can carry a Book a time button on Pro.

How do I get Sage on my card?

Make your card free (it starts in Oxford), then start Pro and pick Sage in your card's editor. Pro is $15 a month or $12 a month billed annually, with 7 days free. Your pass redraws itself in Wallet.
