Classic: a minimalist digital business card template.
Classic is a minimalist digital business card template: a white Apple Wallet pass with your name, role and details in black type and no artwork band. It uses Wallet's plain layout, so it looks like the passes Apple designs. Its type has the highest contrast of the light designs, and it is on Pro.

What it is made of.
White, fading to the faintest gray (#ffffff to #f5f5f7). There is no artwork band on the pass: Classic ships as Wallet's plain layout, so your name is set by Wallet as live text in Apple's system font, with your role and contact details in rows beneath it and your photo as the thumbnail, or a monogram of your initials until you add one. The type is near-black (rgb 29, 29, 31).

Who should wear Classic.
Designers, developers, architects, minimalists of every kind, and anyone who wants the card to look like it came with the phone. It is the most neutral design here. If you want white with a little character, Signature adds warmth and a photo.
How it reads in a dim room.
Near-black on white gives Classic the highest text contrast of the light designs. The flip side is that a white screen is the brightest thing in a dark room, so the person opposite gets glare. For evening events, Oxford gives the same simplicity in navy.
16.8:1text contrast · 7:1 is the bar
Measured from the pass's own colors, by the WCAG contrast formula. 21:1 is black on white; the line marks 7:1, the bar for small text. This is a light card.

Because the name is live text rather than artwork, a name too long for the row is shortened to first and last name on the front, with the full name on the back of the pass.

Classic, answered.
Why does Classic have no artwork?
It ships as Wallet's plain (generic) pass style, which has no strip image. The plainness is the design.
Is Classic free?
No. The free plan's design is Oxford, the navy one. Classic, Brand Color and Signature moved to Pro on September 28, 2026; cards that already wore them kept them.
Can I add a photo to Classic?
Yes. On Classic your photo is the thumbnail beside your name, which is how Wallet lays out its plain passes.
